  1. A lacewing is an INSECT of the families 
  2. Hemerobiidae (the brown lacewings) and 
  3. Chrysopidae (the green lacewings) of the 
  4. order Neuroptera. Found throughout the world, 
  5. lacewings are so called because of the 
  6. intricate veining of their two pairs of 
  7. semi-transparent wings. They have narrow     
  8. bodies and long thin antennae.
